It's very cute!! Personally, I agree it's work-ish. I probably wouldn't have worn it for my shower, but it's whatever you feel comfortable in!

It's adorable!!! and not to workish for your shower! I love wearing black too and would totally wear this. You can wear fun bright colored shoes and fun accessories to brighten it up!

I think it's lovely! I don't see why you couldn't wear it. I wore a black and white dress to mine that I guess you could call workish, but it was lovely and what I wanted to wear, so who cares?
