My bridal party was like this for months, then finally one day they snapped out of it!!!!!!!

My BP isn't really interested in it either. My one bm is getting married 2 months before me so she's KINDA involved but nobody else cares. Me and my mom do everything.

This makes me sad! I'm happy to say though that all my girls are really into our wedding, at times I feel like they're more excited than I am lol! Hopefully they get the sticks out of their behinds soon and start getting into it!

aww I do understand

only 2 of my 4 BM are really into this

thankfully my MOH my sister
and my ex co-worker (and soon to be fellow bride)
they are totally involved.

BUT my BF is out of town and has been a BM about 6 times - so i think my wedding is just...another wedding to her and she can't contribute financially cause she is between jobs

and my niece.... well i just regret having asked her.
she is clueless and always seemingly penniless.
so not involved and never asks anything about the wedding

I just wish I would have better planned out my BP
or followed suit with AMY and just had a MOH and skip the other festivities

omg i feel your pain. my 2 bffs well exbffs wont be friends with me cus i am marrying fh.

i have no moh

one bm just went into rehab

one is preoccupied with her kid

one i barely talk to

and one is 16.

i do it all with my mom- but its kinda sad and not fun to have girlfirneds to do it with. and my mom was like 'aaw i will be your moh if you want'
i was like uuuugh no - i am such a loser i have no friends that my mother has to be my moh

i am hating wedding this week... and jerky fh doesnt help

I am sorry you feel this way!!! Do what is best for you. Maybe attempt to talk to them. If they aren't family and you feel like this is the way things will be going forward then maybe its time to cut it off now. If you think it's just a temporary thing then see if it can be fixed? I hope everything works out for you!!!

I feel your pain and Im sorry I couldnt even being to tell you my bridal party problems. I hope your girls get into it.

That's terrible I haven't really had this problem. Pretty much whatever kind of relationship I've had with my friends before I've asked them to be in it, I still have. But maybe they are jealous of you??

i have this problem too don't worry as you can see from my other post its 108 days until the wedding and they haven't even got dresses i felt that way about my mom but she has alot of stuff going on... shes a bit more interested now but for a while it was just FMIL, FH and I. hopefully everything works out for you

thats really mean. single girls dont usually understand how to handle a non-single friend. its sad, but what goes around come around. youre prob just more sensitive to it cause you have so much going on

So sorry you are going through this! I have been lucky! I have three amazing BM who have stepped up and taken control of the whole thing! My MOH is in AK and my fifth BM is 17 and in AK. So....my BM have taken the blunt of the responsibility!! Sorry you have to deal with this. Try to find the positives in the group. Thats really all I can say! I know that not everyone can be a part of every step of the planning, but when they can I cherish the moment!
