Im sorry mama. I know it hurts to not have those people there but dont let that affect how awesome your shower was!!! You had a great time - lots of people were there for you and those who werent arent even worth the time to write this post. F them. This is about you and Dave and your marriage and life together ... If people are too busy to share this time with you then they just arent worth it. XOXOXOXO.

I agree with the other girls. I know it's hurtful that FH's fam didnt come but remember that the people who truly care about you were there and you had a great time with them!

UGH! I'm SO sorry about this! Don't let them ruin your day and how awesome your shower was. I had a couple cousins (it was one whole family, mother and 2 daughters) that didn't come to my shower and when asked why was told by the husband 'they had other things to do that day'. But I went to everything the older daughter had when she got married.
I learned throughout the wedding process, expect nothing from people and don't expect people to do the right thing even though you do. It still burns but it's SO true!

I'm sorry I know it hurts... every single woman invited from DH's family RSVP'd no to my shower... then his mother called the day before and said she wan't going to come. I was really upset.
