I am hoping I don't have to come in to work on Friday (waiting on management approval) - but I def plan on putting my shopping sneakers on if I am off

Aww I'm sorry that you don't get a shortened week I'll have to log in on thursday to keep you company! FMIL is cooking Thanksgiving dinner for about 14/15 of us. I love family g2g!!! I love love love to shop on Black Friday..I go every year and I can't wait to go again.

You don't have a shortened week? That's terrible! You miss out on all the Thanksgiving festivities and all the turkey and all the shopping! Sorry.. I know I am not making it any better...

but that stinks! Sorry...

I am soo excited for this week! I LOVE the holidays!! I am making an apple pie for FH family for Thanksgiving and then we are going over there for Thanksgiving this year.. FH grandpa is 85 years old and we want to spend as much time as we can with him! But it will be fun I havent seen all of FH family in a while so it will be nice... Then Friday FH and I are going shopping for Christmas and Black Friday stuff!! I NEED new camera...then Saturday we are going to the wineries with FH entire family!! I love the holidays!!!

Wow.... I really want your 4 day weekend.

Im so excited for thanksgiving! good food, good family and good friends! My dad is working this year for thanksgiving so we're celebrating with him wednesday night.. then Thursday we have the usual run around between my family and FH's family!

Im definately doing black friday shopping it puts me in the holiday spirit!

Thursday we are going to FH's family's house for Turkey and Friday we were planning on staying in b/c we have a 8 1/2 month old baby--and we def cant bring him to black friday LOL

I want to bake a cake for m FH's job too. I love baking and making things...so i think i will make him something....

Also, I am contemplating going shopping (and leaving (FH home with the baby) BUT i am NOT sleeping outside LOL maybe like 5am? LOL

what time are you guys going?

I know the feeling....i am working thursday, friday, sat and sun....so no shortened week for me AT ALL. At least i'm working days so i can go for thanksgiving dinner. My FH is all like 'but your saving lives'...but i really dont care. this will be my first thanksgiving that i'll b working

You just gave me a great idea! I REALLY did not want FH to miss Thanksgiving, but he has work, so he'll miss everything! (Working the afternoon and evening), so I should bake him something for him and his coworkers! Thank you sooooo much! He might be embarrassed, but I really love the idea! I am so psyched! Now... what do I make?
