i say you do what you can. i think it would be nice to have everyone over your place - it would be more laid back. plus, i don't think you need to have anyone besides the BP and parents. the only other ppl we're inviting are grandparents, i think.

Are you having your ceremony at a church? If so the church makes you have a rehearsal usually so then something after is appropriate I guess. I think having ppl over for drinks and apps is fine or maybe consider a local place just for dessert and drinks. It's really just the gesture so do whatever you can afford.

You can do something at your apartment. We have a lot of OOT guests so we might combine the two and do something lowkey...

agreed... you don't have to do anything big and I actually think a small party at your place would be great... you can even just do an apps/cocktail type of party and just hang out.

ITA with this. i've been to RDs where they served pizza in their apartment! there is no right or wrong way to do it - you do what you can! (unless someone wants to chip in of course)

We are probably just going to have a pizza party rehearsal dinner at our place the night before. I like the idea of having something more laid back.

You can def do something at your apartment...I know it can get so expensive...that is like a $1,200-$1,500 cost right there at a restaurant...ugh!
