oh no! Well, if they didnt go to yours its probably not horrible if you miss it, but it would be nice if you could go and youll probably have a great time....any way you can leave for FL on Sun? is everything booked already? Maybe they wont mind if you push your reservations back a day?

We are going on a Cruise out of Florida...it leaves Sunday morning. We wanted to fly in Saturday night to be sure we wouldn't miss it.

I dont think its horrible for you not to go. Nothing to do with whether or not he came to yours because youre not doing it on spite. You had plans that have already been arranged. Apologize and send a gift. Dont feel bad - you dont have to revolve your life around other people Its not like you purposely planned it to not be there. Things happen.

I'd explain the situation and send a gift... they should understand.

FYI though if you WANT to go to the wedding. I've been on many cruises and they usually don't depart until like 4pm, and they have everyone on board by say 2pm. I've always flown in the same day and never had a problem. I always just take the first flight out and then I am usually waiting at the pier terminal to actually board. I would say you are safe doing that, if you want too.
