Since my fiance is not able to attend TWOTY... I tried to let CS know so that other ticket can be given to another girl but since it says in red letter its non transferable and non-refundable that ticket is going to waste.

I misunderstood when signing up originally thinking the party was later in the day and my FH can attend.. So not only am I upset that I have to go alone, am not being refunded now another girl is missing out on her ticket...

i understand that they don't want to refund tickets bc it can be a lot of work if tons of people do this

but i dont think its fair for another girl to miss out, since so many girls want to go and werent able to get tickets

Cmon CS, release the ticket for another 11 bride!!!

eta: and didn't someone else get to give up their ticket not too long ago?

It might not be the ideal but it was all in the original information posted (before sales). So it's not that another girl would not be able to go but you would lose your money. At this point either way you will not get your money back.

Can't FH meet you later at the event?

You cannot transfer or refund a ticket but you can charge another bride for another one. Something not right about that.

it's def not right to make double money off the ticket

i dont see what the big deal is why the ticket cant be transferred, is it really that much work?

well i think CS said the reason they dont want to refund tickets is bc there is a lot of planning involved, not sure maybe i made that up in my head lol

i guess with the guestlist and stuff, invites, etc? i dont know!

While I feel bad for your situation, at the end of the day, rules are rules. They stated them very clearly from the beginning.

Also, CS is throwing an entire wedding for us, soup to nuts for $35/person. Have you ever been able to attend a wedding where you dont have to give a gift, attend a full CH and eat dinner and have open bar for $35?? I'm sure that CS is shelling out big bucks for this wedding besides the money that we all gave.....so when they say that its non-refundable, they mean it. As we all know its a lot of money to hold a wedding, how can we expect that that would be free?

Again, I feel bad that you wont be getting your money back but we all have to realize what CS has put into all of this for everyone.
