So I went to aruba (but it was not for my honeymoon of course), but i had an amazingggggggggggg time. we were even contemplating about moving down there. i am doing antigua for my honeymoon and have heard wonderful reviews

I feel like aruba is a place you could get to anytime. Although i dont exactly know the prices of antigua or how long it would take to get there lol. Me and my FH have been talking about this. I say hawaii hawaii hawaii he said well its expensive .. yes but its our honeymoon not a vacation. His family keeps saying bermuda or bahamas i feel like thats a pl we can always go to. Hawaii being on the pricer side makes sense for a honeymoon - in my eyes.

Either way im sure either pl is probably beautiful!!

where in Antigua? I've been to both on cruises and sometimes go to the hotels for the day because the beaches are nicer.

i thnk you made the right choice, but both are beautiful!

Aruba is out of the hurricane belt, so you don't have to worry about that. Aruba is also more 'desert like' as opposed to tropical, which Antigua looks like to me.

I stayed at the Radisson in Aruba and absolutely loved it. Going back soon!!!!!!!!

IMO Aruba is wayyyyy better than antigua. I have been to both. Aruba is beautiful, clean, and friendly. The Radison, hyatt, and occidental Grand Aruba are all beautiful hotels. Occidental is all inclusive. Much more of a honeymoon placethan antigua......
