personally, i think it's a personal decision. if she thinks she'll be able to do it, then she is committing a lot of time, effort and money into your wedding (e.g. buying a gown that will probably need ample alterations to fit her very large body). i would just have a serious convo with her, tell her how you feel and that you need to make sure she's fully committed b/c you will have to incur a lot of costs (e.g. ordering another bouquet for her, including her in your BP gifts and RD lists, etc.) and tell her to think about it for a week or so and let her make the decision.
IMO it's not really your decision to make anymore. sorry if this doesn't help, but if it was me, this is how i would handle it.

Re: Bridal party dilemma
I dont think there is a nice way to do it. If she still says she wants to be in it then I think it will hurt her feelinfs no matter how you word it ( ive seen it happen)
My advice would be to tell her exactly what you just said...that youve been preg etc...that you want her to enjoy the day and not be uncomfort. or stressed..u still WANT her in it but you want to make it clear there is no pressure and that you will be fine if its better for her to not be a bridesmaid.
Hope this helps!

Re: Bridal party dilemma
Im sorry chica...
I know this is UR decision since UR the Bride....
However, if SHE is really important I think u can ASK her if she is capable of doing it... U never know and she may surprise U. My BM is in the process of being pregnant (practicing u know ) and at first i didnt want her bc i know it was going to be very hard for her to be pregnant & a BM... So i asked her, to my surprise, she still want to do it!! =-)

I personally wouldnt ask her to not be in it. You gave her the option and she said she still wants to be there for you. Maybe you can remind her that you have been pregnant and you know how it feels to be due in 3 weeks. But if she really says she'll be fine, I think you should just let her stay in it. I dont know how you can gracefully tell her not to be in it when she says she wants to be. I would leave it up to her.

Re: Bridal party dilemma
WOWWW, I totally agree with you. I never been preggo but I have one Preggo bridesmaid and my Matron of honor which is my BFF will be 8 months then. I personally couldn't tell her I didn't want her in my wedding because she is my BFF of 16 years, I wanted her more than the other 6 I have But I believe if she said she will be okay, then she will be okay. Pregnancy work different for different people.
If you really unsure about her being in your wedding I would explain to her that it is going to be a lot of standing and taking A LOT of pictures. You don't want her to be uncomfortable, so maybe instead of being a bridemaid, she can do a reading or something, and still be a part of the wedding.

hmm that is tough i personally dont think you can ask her to not be in the bridal party. its her choice. perhaps just speak to her more and mention hoow you have been in her shoes and she may be uncomfortable, tired, etc and you would understand if she decides against it now...but would hate for her to back out towards the end.

Re: Bridal party dilemma
she has already stated that she will be more than happy to be in your BP and that she will be able to be there for youthat day even though she will be very pregnant by then. IMO, let her be in it, and tell her to get some comfortable shoes. its not like she is going to be taking pictures with you for 5 hours straight, its probably more like 45 minutes (because lets face it, honestly, the bulk of your pictures will be with your FH) and its no more standing than she would do in an average day at work. the rest of the night at the RH she can sit down or not, as she chooses.

It's up to her. Just sit down with her and tell her what it felt like when you were that pregnant (if she hasn't been pregnant before). She won't be standing all day. Only for the pics of the BP, which shouldn't take too long, and you can provide a chair for her when she's not in a pic, and then she will be standing for the ceremony. She can sit for the rest of the reception. 3 weeks is really cutting it close. Are you afraid she will be on bedrest due to problems? Or that she is going to go into labor early? It's a gamble. But there are a lot of things that can happen to a person that's not pregnant that would prevent them from being in a wedding so close to the day. I have one BM due 2 months after my wedding, so I'm not terribly concerned.

I'm on the same boat!! I'm trying to find a nice way to see if she still wants to be in the party without it sounding like I'm asking her not to be!
Honestly, if she thinks she can do it! Let her!

I am concerned with all of the above. I have already had one girl in my BP drop out because she is due 1 month before the wedding and she already has a 1 and 1/2 year old, and she can't commit to the day. I can't have anyone else in my BP get pregnant!

thanks!! This is what I plan, but I'm just concerned about her. I know it shouldn't worry me, but it still does. I worry about everything!!
