My sister got married last summer, I think my father gave the priest $200...they actually aren't supposed to accept tips, but they ALL do LMAO

Yeah, I'm sure they all say that, but I think it's pretty much understood that the money is for the priest himself. If you are donating to the church, then you can cut the church a check and mail it after the wedding, it doesn't need to be given directly to the priest.
