The wedding we were at last week had a girl with a short ruffly white dress....looked like a wedding dress with the skirt chopped off. We were all just standing there like, what?

I was flabbergasted! The funny part is a friend of mine--her Dh comes up to me and is like why are so many other women wearing white!!? LOL EVEN HE NOTICED!!!!!!

i will not even wear a pale color (grey, yellow, pink) for fear that it will look too light...how DARE they wear white....so rude!

someone wore a white sun dress...i didnt even notice till the very end of the night. by that point i was to mad to care and actually thought it was funny.she's in her 40's married and should know better

and FOUR different ladies/girls/women/guests were wearing white dresses/oufits!!!!!!

One girl had on a pure white short ruffley dress. Another lady had on a white one shoulder linen dress, another one had an off white dress with a big flower and an older lady was wearing a head to toe white pants suits..

I know it is Summer but wearing white to a wedding?? really? People are so annoying.

plain and simplre...that's just selfish!

were they part of the groom or bride's immediate family?

i was at a store the other day trying on dresses, and a girl and her mom were there trying on dresses for a relative's wedding. i had been talking with them a bit, and then they ask my opinion about the dress they liked the best and i was like, 'i think the dress looks fantastic, but since it's a wedding, you might want to think twice about wearing white because i know many brides would prefer that they're the only ones in white (the dress she was trying on was white, with a silver embroidered design), and the mom chimes in and goes, 'well, the bride is my niece, and she'll just have to deal.'

so if any of you find one of your relatives in a white/silver dress the day of your wedding, don't think i didn't warn her!!!

thats a new york and company dress. i almost bought it for my shower lol
