I really wouldn't worry about it. Its not the same day as your wedding, plus its easier for OOT guests to come to both and make a week trip to NY out of it. Plus if the group of friends is that close with both of you they will hapilly celebrate both events with the appropriately deserved enthusiasm. It's a very exciting time for both of you, just take a deep breath, sit back, relax, and enjoy celebrating for her and you.

I would feel the same way you do!! Don't stress about it though But is she definately going to have it the week before? If she's that close of a friend maybe talk to her about it or tell her you wanted to do something that weekend before the wedding with her & the other girls
