Congrats on your engagement!! You don't have to do favors or decorations. Spend on what your comfortable with otherwise save the money for the wedding.

What restaurant is it? If we know the restaurant we may be able to help you better based on their decorations, etc. Is there anything that has meaning to you? We got engaged in Hershey Park so we ran with a candy/sweets theme for our engagement party.

Hi Jessi!! So happy that you booked your e-party....I have a great person for napkins (live next door to Jaclyn)...so let me know if you want to order

I really like the details, so i may have gone overboard with mine, but i think if you are having tables, it doesn't hurt to have a little something on them- even just some floating flowers in a wine glass and a little confetti. We had a favor. Ours was at SushiSamba so we made dishes with sushi on them out of chocolate. Just something simple that either matches the theme of the place or something about you guys. I don't know about personalized napkins for an engagement- i think it is something to maybe save for the wedding.

Congratulations on your engagement and welcome!

I think the amount of decorations you do is really up to you. A simple centerpiece that won't cost too much should be good enough.

Congrats and welcome to LI Weddings.

I don't think you need to even have decoration but if you do want them I would keep it simple. Maybe a few balloon bouquets tied to different pictures of you and your FH, a banner. I def like the idea of personalized napkins it goes with the whole cocktail feel of it. As far as favors if you do decide to do them I would keep it simple also, maybe caosters something along those lines.

Love Perabell! I think you could def. do napkins since you are doing a cocktail feel. If you wanted to do favors, I might do something edible. Good Luck!

I love edible favors. You should look into Afresh Approach - they make all handmade chocolate (truffles, chocolate covered fruit, etc) Everything from them is delicious! They are based in Bay Shore.
