DOC is with you from start to finish, even at your home, etc basicaly your planner the whole day. you Banquet manager is only there to set up what you tell her to set up at the RH

DOC takes care of your vendors too. They help out in situations if your florist sends the wrong bouquets, etc. BM won't take care of that.
