UPDATE: I started making my calls today. Hotels block out 1 year in advance.

What are your hotels charging???

I booked with them. I didn't get to look at the hotel, but I heard it's just fine and they'll hold the bar open late for you. You're not accountable for reserved rooms that don't book, and Randy was great to work with!

Do it asap. There is no reason to wait! We have 2 blocks (one at EW and the other at Hilton Garden Inn) Our STDs haven't gone out yet and the EW block is almost full (thankfully bc I had to put a deposit on that one). I would try to set it up as soon as you can. I am remembering as I write this that Hilton had to wait until a year from our date to open the rooms.

I'm meeting with the Hyatt Happauge in two weeks to arrange our block.
