Family Drama (LONG VENT)

Wow that's tough. Do you have a relationship with her at all? Maybe you could say something to her with out it becoming a whole issue. But that really depends on how close you are with her. What she did as far as pulling your FH aside and saying that to him was very conniving. It seems like she was trying to get him on her 'side' because maybe he was a newer person in the family and thought he would fall for it. It might be a good idea after the wedding is over to mention to her that you saw the posts online and although they were from a long time ago they are very hurtful, and can she please just take them down. If you need to bring it up before the wedding it sounds like she probably would cause drama over it, it might not be worth it to have your family upset at your wedding. If something happens between now and then you might have to say something to her, just make sure to say it nicely and calmly just explain that she is entitled to her feelings but some of her words are hurtful and ask her to try to keep them to herself. Then if she is the one with the problem everyone will see that it's her with the issues (which they probably already do) and it won't ruin anything for you as far as your wedding or your and FH relationships with other family members.

Family Drama (LONG VENT)

I would tell my parents. I have a half brother who has always had issues with my mom being his step-mother. He has said some really nasty things about my mom. I knew it would hurt her and it did. But I couldn't let her not know about it. Needless to say we don't speak to my brother. But I'm glad I told my mom.

I would definitely tell her you found the online postings and you are wondering if she really wants them there for all of eternity! I would ask her if she would consider making a fresh start with the whole family now that your wedding is about to happen. Maybe she just needs to talk it out.
I'm not sure if bringing it up to your parents will do anything positive except open up a big can of hurt feelings just before your wedding. But then, you know your parents. If they would see this as a means to open a dialogue with her and try to clear the air, then it would be good.
Unfortunately, weddings bring out the best and worst in people, it seems!
