*~*~*QOTD 12/12 *~*~* - Long Island Weddings

we've had so many I can't chose just one...from a night in AC, to dinner and the theater in NYC, to A day at the wineries, to a cozy weekend in the Hamptons snuggled by the fire. awww this just made me love FH a little bit more :)

Re: *~*~*QOTD 12/12 *~*~*

Can I consider our dinners at the restaurants in Disney World 'dates'? If so, those!!

But locally, I would say our Valentines/Anniversary/Birthday dinners. He always keeps the restaurant a surprise and picks great locations.

FH took me to the Pats/Jets game in MA 2 years ago for my birthday date. That was amazing. Long weekend in Newport, RI is also up there. And I really love our usual Valentines Day dinner at Areo's in Bayridge, Brooklyn. Its my favorite restaurant back in my old neighborhood and I place we used to frequent a lot when we lived there. :)

FH surprised me with a really great valentine's date the first year we were dating. he took me out to a tiny little romantic restaurant in the city and then surprised me afterwards by taking me to see mary poppins (my FAVORITE!!) on broadway!

It might be cheating but my favorite date was the day following our engagement. He surprised me by taking me to the Grand Cascades Lodge for the weekend and we went out to dinner at Restaurant Latour and was bloooooown away. It was so gorgeous and it was hands down THE most amazing meal i've ever eaten. It was the most romantic weekend of my life!

A more legit answer is probably when we go out to dinner at the Marina Cafe on Staten Island. They're dockside restaurant is so fun. Right on the water, delicious seafood and lots of sangria. We usually hang out there for hours. The whole place was destroyed by Sandy and was only recompleted in the last month. I can't wait for next summer to get back there :)

Re: *~*~*QOTD 12/12 *~*~*

reading girl's answers I think we need more dates lol.

fav date that I can think of was when we first started dating. it was our first nyc date, we went to carmines, then he snuck & took me to the love statue to say I love you for the first time.

he kept saying he wanted this meat stick thing & I just followed him. suddenly we were in front of the love statue lol. it was cute he pulled me in for a kiss & said I love you & I was like I love you too! after that we went to serendipity for frozen hot chocolate & then saw limitless (mmm bradley cooper)

Best date was our first game at CitiField. It was a 1pm start, so we were tailgating in the parking lot at 11am. Had a great time at the game, then went back to his place for a movie and pizza. First time I slept over too :)

This! fh and I say that all the time. We miss Disney like once a week for this reason alone lol.

Fh and do a lot of different kinds of dates some of my favorite have been random days driving out east and going to wineries and then going and finding a place to eat. Country fair mini golf lol over the summer we decided to go and play mini golf we ended up going down to port jeff after and walking around and got ice cream.

Halloween 2007 was pretty awesome- we went into the city to blood manor and the line was like 5 streets and one full avenue away, and was over a 4 hour wait! But my mom's coworker's husband owns it and let us cut the line and didn't even charge us :) Then we went out to a late dinner together and headed home..It was one of our first dates, and was a really cool way to spend Halloween!

Right there with you!! We call and make reservations for dinner there as soon as we know what dates we'll be back in Disney. Nothing like Disney dining!

We really have so many dates that are memorable - our favorite date night is dinner and a play in the city. I guess my favorite one would be from 2007. I love the chef Gordon Ramsay and our first Christmas together he surprised me by taking me to his restaurant in the city at The London Hotel where we also stayed that night. We try to eat there about once a year now-the food is delicious!
