Well, my birthday is Dec 21st - the first day of winter and winter solstice - so, I've always loved winter for that reason foremost. And, I love the first snowfall (unless, of course, I have to travel in it). I met FH on Valentines Day, so there is reason #2. Not to mention, our wedding is Feb 22nd....
With Christmas, my birthday, and FH all connected to this time of year, wintertime will always have a special place in my heart.

My favorite part about winter is Christmas and how pretty our neighborhood is when it snows. When it comes to the holidays, I love that everyone is together. I love the process of shopping for Christmas gifts over the course of a couple of weeks.

Oh! Totally forgot our dating anniversary. February 27. And the day-we-met anniversary is Feb. 9. All fun days to celebrate for us.

Snow (before it gets all dirty and slushy), Xmas time - the lights, music, and all around happiness! My FH's birthday is in January, and our original date (from when we started dating in high school - 3/26/02) is during winter. And in another year (almost!) I will be celebrating another wonderful thing in winter - my wedding anniversary! SO many wonderful things to love about winter! :)

I have so so many for this time of year - it's my favorite! I guess my overall favorite would be just staying in, having some wine and watching Christmas movies with FH and my family! But I also love when it snows and going into the city around Christmas looking at all of the decorations. Both of our birthdays are in January so we'll usually go out to dinner or see a play or something, and I love doing that when it snows!

I love going to see the tree, getting hot chocolate, walking around the city. since I've been on a diet I didn't go last year and I'm not sure about this year :( I might cheat one night lol. I also love decorating and love driving around seeing pretty houses.

I am dying to go have more hot chocolate in the city. few weeks ago we went to La Burdick and omg. my bff & her bf that came with us were like that was the best hot chocolate of my life lol. to me hot chocolate is the ultimate winter thing. I also love the snow as long as it's not January 17-19th lol.

I actually hate going to the city around christmas lol. I work in times square so it's a nightmare land for me. My favorite part of winter is finding out a big snow storm is coming, stocking up on wine + lots of good food and snacks and then getting cozy knowing we don't have to go anywhere. That to me is the best!! I also love Christmas decorations and having a fire going in the fireplace :)
