My dad is off the boat from Sicily, and my FH's family is 100% Italian too! I don't like cheesy Italian-American songs, so we will probably do some Eros Ramazzotti and Andrea Bocelli. Not sure what my favor is yet, we considered wine...my dad makes homemade but he didn't make enough this year for favors
. My uncle owns an Italian bakery in Brooklyn, so we are hoping to bring in some of his pastries and semolina bread!!

Italians typically love ceramic Lenox or sterling silver statues/serving dishes/picture frames with Jordan almonds as favors, but I hate that stuff lol. I want something practical, so I will probably do something edible!

My FH is 100% Italian as well and we plan ok doin a ton of Italian music too! Anything by Louis Prima. Songs like Angelina, pepino the mouse and of course the tarantella. As far as favors go tho, a lot of people in both our families are effected by diabetes so were going to a donation instead

We are doing a couple of circle dances and the father-daughter dance will be italian as well. We are giving a serving dish with jordan almonds as a favor. Since FH is Chinese- we are looking for some traditional chinese new year chocolates that look like gold bars to mix in with the jordan almonds.

I am first generation 100% Italian and my fiancé is half Italian. I told my mom I didn't want to have Italian music at the wedding and I think she died haha she said I 'HAVE' to so we will see about that. I know my mom wants to get Jordan almonds from Italy. Also, my mother in law insisted on pastries on the table so we are having that as well. As far as favors, no idea! I have received so many platters, bowls, salt and pepper shakers, oil and vinegar bottles, etc that I don't want any of that.

My FMIL wants to make the confetti flowers (jordan almonds) as favors. It's a traditional italian favor apparently.

We are adding ribbon with our names and Jordan almonds as well. Are you girls making your own or purchasing? They are all about $3 a favor.Welcome New Vendors
