Re: The Woodlands

I'm getting married there next July. What sort of info are you looking for? I'm in love with the place. It's still under construction but it will be beautiful. FM me if you want.

Stephanie do they have a website? Where are they located? Are their prices steep?

Re: The Woodlands

Hi there,
I'm pretty sure they don't have a web site yet. They are kinda new at throwing big wedding bashes. But you could totally go and visit if you want and get a full tour. It's in Woodbury right off of Jericho Tpke. (about 1/2 mile down from Fox Hollow) As far as price goes...they can be a bit steep for Sat. night about $140pp, but honestly you can probably bargain the price down. No definites though.

Re: The Woodlands

HOnestly, don't worry Beachbride...first off we are looking for a Sat. afternoon & although we would like 7/17 we aren't closed to 7/24 either. Also FI is pretty set with the other hall we mentioned.

Re: The Woodlands

Hope it's OK to intrude - I also checked out The Woodlands. We thought it was great! The main reason we didn't book was because we are having an enormous wedding, and we weren't convinced they could fit us comfortably. I also got the $140pp quote, but was also able to get them down pretty quickly. I think it'll be fantastic. The chair coverings, etc. look great. Other than the size, which wouldn't be an issue at all for most people, the only concerns we had were that it looked like the band would be set up at one end of the ballroom, and we wondered if that would make people at the other end feel a bit left out; we also thought that putting 12 people around their tables would be way too tight (we saw one set up for 10 people in the tent, and it seemed 'cosy'). But neither of these things would have stopped us from booking - it really was the size.
