I know a lot of stylists that stay the day with you. It isn't inexpensive, but they do it. If your hair and make-up is done properly, it will stay the whole day with the expection of reapplying lipstick.

i don't think you have to invite her as a guest but employ her for the day

I am inviting my hairstylist but not as someone to fix my hair all day. I didn't think anyone would do that, and if they did it would cost $$$$$. No, she has become a friend in the years I have known her and she recommended the hall, the photographer and videographer and helped me decide on my florist with me so I want to have her there. If she wants to fix my hair or makeup for me she can and I'll compensate her for it but I don't expect her to.
