On a rating from 1-5 (5 being the worst) how would you rate Kleinfield's ability to meet the needs of 'larger' sized women.
My friend is usually 12/14/16 in street clothes, and trying on dresses has been a hassle for her.
Should we waste our time in Kleinfeld's?
I didn't know how to answer b/c my dress comes in three pieces, and I squeezed into the samples. She's worried that NOTHING will fit, and the people there will be RUDE (which I didn't think they were)

Well the samples are usually size 10 and 12...they'll give her a corset and pin up the back of the dress to the corset if it doenst close... none of them closed on me and Im a size 8/10...I was freaking! But the lady there was very nice and assured me that they do run rather small. Tell your friend not to worry...most females are her size anyway...
ETA: I would rate it as 2...

I really don't know...I am the only person that tried dresses on there and most of the sample sizes were perfect or big....
really I just wanted to ask if you were able to sneak a pic in your lovely Lhullier?
and to say that most of the ladies that work their are not skinny minny's either so they should definitely not cop a tude with anyone!

We're going there tonight, along with my MOH to sneak in pics of me in my dress, and for her to look into some dresses as well!
My appointment's at 5:30 - so I'll let you know how it goes donw! I'm prepared with my camera!
Can I bring my handbag in the dressing room with me? What about bringing my MOH with me into the dressing room? That way I won't have to step outside until we've taken a couple of pics???

I brought everything AND everyone in the room with me, including my 4 yr old godson the first time I went!! there are a few chairs for people that go in with you. the room is reasonably big, but not huge either- though I just realized I am thinking of the brooklyn store. I haven't seen the NYC store.
