wow looks amazing!! I have always wanted to go to Egypt! Is it easy to get around there? Someone told me its not a good time for Americans to visit- obviously you didn't have any problems- any advice? i really want to go there sometime!!

We had an amazing time, loved it. We flew direct into Cairo and then spent some time there, flew to Luxor and took a boat down the nile to Aswan. then we flew to Sharm El-Sheik and spent a week at the red sea (DEF DO THIS!). We booked everything in advance and had private guides through the whole thing. The travel group we book through arranged all of our transportation. It is good to have a guide with you as a lot of ppl dont speak english. I actually think Egypt was exceptionally safe, there are guards everywhere and they have a really strong interest in keeping tourists safe as it is their only real source of income. They welcome Americans because they expect you will tip well ,etc. A lot of people thought we were crazy for going, but it was the best decision we made. It was very hot though, maybe if going just for a vacation, dont go in June.
