So today while Im at work I find a voice mail telling me the dress is in!!!!!! ARE THEY FREAKING KIDDING ME?????? AFter a week of ordering its in???
Any advice you ladies can give me before I call DAvid's and demand to see every single inch of the dress inside and out...... If its a damn sample from somewhere I'm gonna kill them!!!!

Honestly what I would do is contact Oleg Cassini directly and see if you can find out an approx time range the dresses are usually shipped.

No dress from David's is special ordered. Not even the Oleg's. They get your size from any store in the country that has it. It might be a brand new dress. That is what happened with mine. I ordered an Oleg Cassini. Mine took a month to come in and it was brand new. I went over it with a fine toothed comb before I agreed to take it home. My advice to you is for you to do the same.

I didn't go to David's but I ordered an Alfred Angelo on a Tuesday - that Friday I got a call that the dress was in. I was concerned too -but it's legit - I tried it on and everything.
A lot of designers will have popular styles/sizes already made up and will ship them out fast once ordered ..

Honestly...I bought a sample Oleg because it was discontinued. It was in perfect condition and beautiful. I would call and go in to look at it. I'm sure it will be perfect!

I was just going to say the same thing. David has pretty much all their sizes in stock. It might not be at the store you went to but they are premade and it can be shipped to you from their inventory.

i got my dress from Davids Bridal also and it didn't take long at all to come in. About 2 months, so it was earlier than expected. I tried it on at the store and everything was perfect with it.
It was VERY important to me not to have a dress that dozens of other brides-to-be have tried on. Because i'm tall, they said that they needed to order an extra length gown, which the stores don't carry. So that was a relief. Brand new dress!!!
Definitely try it on there if you can. Make sure it's exactly what you want. But don't worry too bad that it came in early. I think they all do pretty much.

i wouldn't worry too much, David's bridal is known for having dresses in withink weeks, sometimes even 1-2 weeks.
I didnt purchase my gown there, but mine came in to my bridal shop after 4 weeks...i was surprised, but took it as a good sign--then I didn't have any of that dress-related stress close to the wedding, I had that big worry out of the way!

Davids Bridals dresses come in very Quickly! they give u like a 2 month time frame to cover themselves but mine came in a week later!
the only thing that stinks is that you have to pick it up they do not store it there
