i just saw a commercial for WM and the song in the background was voi che sapeti. yes, it's a beautiful song, but the meaning isn't so appropriate for weddings- it's about a young man who's starting to notice girls and has all kinds of 'strange' and new feelings.... maybe if they were advertising for bar mitzvah parties... lol but they had a woman decorating a wedding cake!
i probably only noticed b/c i'm a classically trained singer...

I doubt that most people know the English translation of the song and when taken out of context it could be appropriate to some.

I don't remember singing that song personally, but I have heard it. Sometimes people just don't look at the translation I guess.
