Alright... I have a problem...and I'm not happy. LOL> I wanted to order just my pocketfolds from a site that some ladies talked about on here for only $1 each!! But, they only do 5x7, which I THOUGHT was my size invite. BUT...it's actually 5.5x8!! So, I would need to have a custom cut pocketfold...AUGH!... which from THAT site costs $140 for the set-up and THEN another 1-1.50 each!! Soo..>I'm not spending $250 just on pocketfolds! LOL. So, now I have some questions! If I want to make them myself, what size paper should I get for EACH invite? How many should I get? Where should I get them from? I want a blue-ish metallic... I'm sooo frustrated now. LOL> Why Can't I just have a normal size invite??
Can anyone help?? Also, some instrutions of how to make them would be sooo nice as well! I know I know, I'm asking for ALOT! HAHA

Re: xpost 09 - DIY Pocketfolds
a lot of us made our own pocketfolds. You can order the paper cut to size from anchor paper. They have tons. Do a search on here some girls put up instructions. I had to make mine bigger (I think it was 8.5 x 5.5 - in a invitation kit I bought at Staples) so I actually sat down and drew out the size. I ***think*** it was 17 x 8.5, keep in mind how big you want the 'pocket' to be and how big you want the flap to be. I think I needed 5.5 twice, and used 3 inches for the pocket and then 3 inches for the overlap. Yeah, that's 17. Then I my paper cutter had a scoring blade (the cricut one) so I scored them and the DH folded them while watching tv and we used glue dots to hold them down. I think it worked out to like 68 cents each.
You should contact anchor paper, their website can be overwhelming.
