xpost 2010; RD loc in Bay Shore/Islip area- Questions are Reviews please

Made a list of places I want to contact for the RD. I personally haven't been to any of these places, so I was wondering if any of you lovely ladies have,

Villa Monaco
^ I've never been there, but FH swears he and I went and hated it... but I know I've never been there
La Grange Inn
^ one of my mothers customers owned it until she passed away, I've heard its changed a lot.
Tellers
^ head all good reviews, but I don't eat fish and I hear its REALLY pricey.
Verace

Irish Coffee Pub

Shandon Court

Tula Kitchen
^ not really sure what it is, but it looks cool
Tullalahs

And I really wanted it at Nico's (the Gatsby) but FH said he read really horrible reviews (though I've searched and can't find any)

Villa Monaco- used to be my family's favorite place to eat. It has changed a lot in recent years. We went there a few years ago when my papa passed- it was nothing to rave about, but nothing bad either.

La Grange Inn- used to be another hot spot for that area. It was vacant for a while, and I'm pretty sure (from what I hear around town) that its turned into a singles bar.

Tellers & Irish Coffee Pub- I've never eaten at either of these places but I have heard good things, but also that they are pricey. We are looking at both of these places for our RD

Other suggestions:
Molly Malone's (Bayshore)- My sister had her Sweet 16 here. There is a private room upstairs that overlooks the bay. It was really nice, the food was great, and they were very accomodating.

Nonnina (West Islip)- I have heard great things about this place. A lot of my mom's friends have been here and rave about it. It's located just east of Robert Moses on Montauk

The Lake House (Bayshore)- Another place I have heard great things about. This place is also on our RD list.

If you're willing to go to Babylon Village there are a ton of places. I really love the Postoffice, Argyl and Cafe il Villagio.

Tellers is delic, but super pricey..

Verace - right next door is really good, and not as pricey.

I just went to the Lake House for my B-day, it's adorable, fantastic food.. and not too crazy price wise... I'd definately check it out!

Tula's is interesting, good food .. but can be very dark in side.

Noninna does get lots of raves - I've had a few friends go and love it.

Also in Babylon is the Carriage house.. I love Argyles too.. and it's not too crazy of a drive from bayshore to Babylon

we had FH's nephews communion at Noninna's we LOVED it there... but we're trying to go somewhere nobody on either side has been to.. same with the Carriage House, had FHs nieces baptism there.

the lake house- I haven't been there in years, but I wasn't super crazy about it.

I never heard that about La Grange... but thats good to know
Molly Malones- I'm not a fan, we had A LOT of parties there growing up (and my confirmation dinner) and its just.. bad memories.

And we've been to like every place in babylon village, I live in Bay Shore (North) so I'm in Babylon, Bay Shore, West Islip, North Babylon- a lot...
we just wanted something really close to St. Pats.

thanks girls.

I am getting married in Captain Bill's...food is fab and it is in Bay Shore...They have different size rooms depending on how many you are expecting... We have been to various parties there and loved it.

Milk and Sugar has good food in Bay Shore....

had FFILs surprise party at capt bills, and almost had our eparty.. but when we went for pricing the girl was really nasty to us. but the food is REALLY good (kinda love the chicken)

FH doesn't want to do milk and sugar... brings back bad memories.

sorry for being a pain girls, we just really want somewhere we haven't been before (which would basically narrow us down to the list I supplied)... we just want to go somewhere different.
