Has anyone been to the latin club at Cuba Libre? Is is a dance club atmosphere or more live entertainment?
I am not a huge dancer..... but want live music and entertainment. any suggestions for bars at tropicana (thats where we are staying)

Is that next to Carmines? Then yes I've been Cuba Libre. Its a restaurant and there is a section where people dance. When I was there it wasn't a live band or anything but they did have a guy playing what looked like a bongo and interacting with people that were dancing. I am sure you can call them and find out if they have any specific live band on the date you will be there.

I love Cuba Libre! It is my favorite restaurant to go to in AC. It's not too crazy of a party place, since it doubles as a restaurant. There is some entertainment there with a bongo player that is really fun!

have you looked into 'the pool' at Harrah's? I know it's not at the Trop- but it's a pretty decent club and if you get a table they are set far enough away from the dance floor that you can just sit and hang if you don't want to dance ( the tables are totally affordable for larger groups)
