Do all the members of your BP stand on the altar with you? or do they stand in the first pew?
Does it depend on the church? I had this argument with my mom last week....

MOH and Best Men sat on the altar with us. The rest of the BP sat in the first rows on both sides. The children sat with their parents.
However, I think this might be different if you are having a ceremony only. In that case, I think that everyone might stand. I'm not sure though since we had a full Mass.

it kinda depends on your church and the layout. i know you asked for catholic, but for my brothers wedding in a lutheran church we all stood around the alter, with the MOH/BM closest to my bro and sil.
for my wedding the moh and bm stood on the alter with us (but to the side) and our BP was seated on the side pews.
our parents were in the first pews.

We had a ceremony and our BP sat (besides moh and bm). Think it depends on the church.

FH is Catholic and I had 3 MOH's and he had 3 BM's in addition to the rest of the BP. The priest let us have all the MOH's and BM's at the alter with us. The rest of the BP sat in the first pew. Think theres pics of it in album.

You have to chose if you want your BP or parents in the first row, than the other will sit in the row behind.
Only Your MOH and BM are on the altar with you.
