xpost - computer help!

I logged into my email account a few minutes ago (hotmail) and notice i was in the midst of getting hacked (saw return emails that email addresses arent valid and when i chekced my sent messages there were a ton of emails - to practically everyone in my address book). I automatically changed my password and sent out a few emails telling people not to click on the link.
So i think i am set. now i am concerned though...since i logged in as it was happening, does that mean it happened from the computer/network i am currently on? or could someone have received my password when i was on another computer and just happen to use it now?

Is it safe for me to log into my credit cards accounts from my computer (or any other accounts)? what do i do??? i want to change all my passwords now but am scared people will get into them....
