Xpost Flamingo LV

Xpost Flamingo LV

Just a little FYI. DH and I had planned on doing a vow renewal in Vegas and changed our original wedding date to a few months earlier to coincide with our actual wedding date (had to get married a year earlier due to insurance reasons). So they were nice enough to change my original date at no cost. We've been planning this trip to Vegas and DH was offered a job that he couldn't turn down. Now it is time for the wedding and unfortunately we have to postpone until next year. They are requiring a $125 date change fee on top of the $1000 deposit we have already sent. I understand the fee somewhat but never expected this response from my wedding coordinator. Please read below and use caution if you are ever considering dealing with these people:

Hi Amanda,

I need to know by Friday, March 12th if you want to move to next year. And since I have already waived a time/date change fee I cannot do it this time and will have to collect the $125 fee now.

Please give me a call or email by Friday. Otherwise I will cancel the wedding and keep the deposit.

I have no issue with sending the $125 but now wonder if I even want to deal with someone that is this rude. Have no idea what to do at this point. Do I just reschedule or walk away and take it as a $1000 learning experience?

BECOME OUR FRIEND ON FACEBOOK????

Seriously, who ends an email that way?

I would honestly scuk it up and pay the 125...1000 is alot to lose. Even if Tina is rude. Let her know you dont want to be her facebook friend after this.

Wow!! I cant get over become a fan on facebook!!

I am very suprised- my brother and sister-in-law got married at the Flamingo and they had nothing but great things to say about them. But then again that was in 2003 and maybe the same people arent there anymore.

Send the $125 - $1,000 is way too much to lose

The Facebook thing just seems like it's part of her generated signature on her work e-mails.

I honestly don't see anything wrong with it. Maybe it's the New Yorker in me. She's straight and to the point, no b.s.

so basically shes like eff you but become a fan on fb! woo hoo!! is she bipolar?

it depends on your budget... i would rather not deal with them, but 1k is a large chunk to lose out on.

I also think it was a cumputer generated signature and that she was just being straightforward. I don't think there's a really nice way of saying they need the money of they have to cancel.

sorry but i agree with this too

she was probably just annoyed because you're changing the date again and wanted to be clear with you about what you have to do this time
