XPost -- Florist Question

XPost -- Florist Question

My FSIL is dating the son of a florist. We went to him for a price quote hoping for a discount. I have the quote but I have no idea if it's a good deal. Ladies, please help!

My bouquet -- $110
Bridesmaids -- $55 each
Junior Bridesmaid -- $30
Boutonnieres -- $60 for all

Centerpieces -- $135 each

I'm not a flower person, so any money seems like a lot to me. Is this a good price or should we shop around? TIA!

Depends on what kind of flowers / design, but that seems very fair! (I'm a florist)

HTH!

Depends on your arrangements for your centerpeices / flower types etc. but it looks to me like you got a great price!

Are your CP high or low? Is there a lot of 'greenery' in them or are they neat and tight flower arrangements??

We will have anywhere from 16 to 20 tables.

In addition, I have 5 bridesmaids, 5 groomsmen, and 1 junior bridesmaid.

Thanks! My uncle also works for a florist, so I was considering getting a quote from them.

I am at work, but will update tonight with the exact flowers I chose if that would help.

I can update later with types of flowers we selected, but I can tell you that our centerpieces are high without a ton of greenery.

for the amount of CPs, I think he gave u a good quote, especially since ur CPs are gonna be high and without fillers

I don't like fillers either and when u ask ur florist to keep greenery to a minimum, the price automatically goes up

Re: XPost -- Florist Question

I just chose my florist. They told me that it depends on the flowers. Some florist give good deals but crappy flowers. your prices are in a good range but i think i got a better deal.

Talk to doris at www.creativefloristeventplanners.com

My wedding is next year and she knows her stuff and made me feel comfortable not overwhelmed so that has to count for something!

Shes doing those cool crystal tree's and the church. her site has ALOT of pictures of work she has done.

The flowers for my bouquet are mostly roses (vendella and pale pinks) with white lizi.

For the CPs, they also have roses along with hydranfea, gerbera daisies, pink stock, and possibly astros?

I have no idea what I am talking about. :)

That's a total for ALL of the bouts...they are about 7 bucks each. Bridesmaids bouquets are 55 dollars each. Sorry to be confusing!
