XPost from 2010: Junior Groomsman??

So we all know there is such a thing as a Junior Bridesmaid, but can you have/is there such a thing as a Junior Groomsman??

One of FH's cousins will be 17 by the time we get married. His sister is a BM, but she and I are super friendly and she'll also be 20 when we get married. At this point, we've chosen our BP. Then I thought of this kid the other day... What do you guys think? He's FH's first cousin, but they're not that close and his GMs are 5 friends, his brother and my brother. No other cousins (FH has like 3 or 4 first cousins).

Thoughts?

when I was a jr BM my cousin was supposed to be a jr GM, but decided on the day of the wedding he didn't want to get out of bed.

eta- and my nephew will be a jrgm, but he's walking with a (Tall) BM.

I feel like 17 is too old for a junior groomsman. Is there something else you could have him be apart of or do at the wedding?

My junior bridesmaid is 10, she will be 12 when we get married since her bday is decemeber!
I am having her brother who is 15, but will be 18 by the time we get married, walk down the isle with her, but we are considering him a groomsman, because I feel he is too old to be a junior groomsman.
