hey all

we are using our friend to DJ at our engagement party. he has a full time job but does this for fun on the side.

of course he said he doesnt want money and that he just wants us all to have fun. (its his group of friends too)

but we want to pay him and we want to be fair.

it's a 4 hour party and he comes 1 hour prior to set up. theres no hand outs or anything, just music and lights.

are you asking whether or not you should pay him? I would say to try, and if he doesn't let you, then buy him a really nice gift and send it to him afterwards
