I transplanted here 8 years ago and I STILL have a hard time accepting those! G-d forbid you miss one... you have to drive for miles before you can turn around again! I told DH we CANNOT live in a town that has any of those jughandles!

I used to live in Bergen County off of Route 17 in Rutherford (near the stadium) When I first moved there, I was on my way home from some store, ended up on Route 1&9 (still can't figure out how it can be both route 1 and route 9, but anyway... ) I missed getting into the local lane, ended up on the express lane and couldn't turn around until I was just blocks away from the Holland Tunnel. NJ is just too confusing!
