XPOST: Hotel Welcome bags

For those that did them, what did you put in them and which sitw (if you ordered online) did you get the boxes at? Did you also make 1 per room or per person?

You can buy cute white bags at Michaels and dress them with some ribbon and/ or monogram stickers.

Some things you might want to add:

- Water
-Juice
- Protein Bar
- Trail Mix
- Chips
- Candy like a chocolate bar or bag of M and Ms
- Map of the area with local attraction guide
- Tampons
- Tylenol or Advil
- Gum/ Mints
- Travel size toothbrush and toothpaste
- Travel size body lotion
- Travel size shampoo and body wash
- Mini sewing kit

I'd give one per room and two each of the edible items.

We did one per room. We put:

Welcome Letter
2 bottles of water
2 trail mix bars
4 fruit snack packs
2 packs of gum
1 individual Entenmann's coffee cake
1 bag North Fork potato chips
1 bag Cracker Jacks
Lifesaver Wintergreen mints
Assorted miniature chocolates
2 individual packets of Tylenol

Is this something you HAVE to do?? I feel like with everything else we've spent money on. Do I have to spend more on things like this..
