some of my family will be heading to OC MD this summer w/kids-----any recos. on where they should stay????
what should they see/do?

I have been there once, so i can say try to stay in a chain hotel that is between 25th to 1st streets on the ocean. That is the heat of the town, plus it is easier to park if you stay at a hotel near the beach. Of course it is more expensive in that area, so if they are looking for a bargain there in a nice comfort inn around 66th street that I stayed in, but it was away from the action. We had to be up early to get a good parking spot by the beach. it is a good place for the kids. There is also a outlet shopping mall on Rt 50. Not the best stroes, but an excuse to go shopping, maybe catch a movie

we go there every year. If there are kids involved, I highly recommend getting a condo. There is Proline I think its www.shorepro.com? And coldwell bankers summer rentails are big too.

You can get a condo for a week/mini week then you get extra bedrooms, a full kitchen, etc. Some are nicer than others. Some are run down, all are pretty clean.
