FH's aunt is staying at the New York LaGuardia Airport Marriott hotel at 102-05 Ditmars Boulevard,
East Elmhurst.

Can someone recommend a nice italian restaurant nearby? She would like to take us out tomorrow night.

Thanks!!!!

Thanks for the links. I'm not familiar with the area at all, and online can be deciving. I hate to take them to a dirty hole in the wall in a bad area, LOL. That's why I love message boards, can get personal feedback and can ask questions.

His aunt was born and raised in Brooklyn, so whenever she visits first thing we must do is hit up a good italian restaurant!

Ahh well i've used yelp.com and the reviews are usually on point. I'm sorry i can't help you any better the only restaurant i've been around there is the Jackson Hole which is a 1950's diner that has the biggest and most delicious burgers that i have ever tasted lol.

Jackson Hole for burgers.. its like 5 mins away

and Trattoria L'incontro for Italian

they are by far one of the best Italian food restuarants I have been too.. My dad knows the owner and they make all their pasta homemade.. they are so good!

Yum....Jackson Hole!!!! Haven't been there in AGES!!!!!! Hmmm....maybe I can talk her into burgers, lol.

But I think we settled on Parkside in Corona! It's only 10 mins away and I've always wanted to try that!

Thanks!

Parkside is awesome and the Pine Restaurant (which I thinkkkkkkkk is in the Holiday Inn) is awesome believe it or not.

Its right by astoria, about 5 mins away so theres lots of restaurants there you can try.

I LOVE L'incontro, one of my favorite Italian restaurants. For something different though maybe 718-its french and spanish fusion and looks real nice too, food is delicious. Theres tons of places and I agree with Martha's bakery
