I know we can't have an aisle runner, but does anyone know if they allow the FG to throw petals or if guests are allowed to throw petals outside the church after the ceremony?

TIA!

why won't they let you have an aisle runner?

They said it's a liability b/c they've had people fall down the aisle before. They also don't allow the inner church doors to be closed and opened in between bridesmaids walking down the aisle. Doors must remain open at all times.

Guess I picked a strict church!

I'm getting married there. I'm doing petals outside. I din't ask, but I'm doing it. It's easier to ask forgiveness then permission. Father Greco is pretty cool so I'm not going to worry. Do you go to mass on Sunday's there?

Not as much as I should, but usually about once a month. We just did our pre cana with the Pilkingtons and it was a really great experience.

thanks for the advice!
