We went to see that litter of puppies last night and we took one! They are absolutely adorable. They were saved from a North Carolina kill shelter where they were going to be euthanized :(
The woman who is fostering the puppies still has two females and one male. They are thought to be a mix of black lab, border collie and some kind of terrier. They look like mini black labs! They are 8 weeks old and about 5-6 pounds. They are expected to be smaller dogs.
Here is she - we named her Ivy.

SOOOOOOOOO CUTEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!! I love lab/terrier mixed pups - they are so adorable and they stay a good size (usually closer to 50lbs or so). Your Ivy is beautiful

My other dog (Nyla) so far has been great with her. Shes usually not a fan of other dogs. Shes been known to attack dogs to the point of drawing blood but shes pretty good with puppies. And this one she seems to like. Aw, its cute to watch them together! I cant believe the shelter would just kill these puppies - so gross. .. Really happy we saved her. I hope her siblings get adopted soon! They are in a safe foster home and the woman is amazing with them

Yay! So glad they're getting along!!! It is super sad that a shelter would just euthanize puppies! Thank God there are people like you and her foster mom out there!!
