For those of you who have gone wedding band shopping...what do you think is a reasonable budget? Innitially, I didn't think I should have to spend more than 1k for each ring but now I'm not sure...
I went to our jeweler last night and saw a ring I love that basically had diamonds completely covering it...similar to the pic...and he said for platinum it would be like 1500-1800...
Do you think this is good or high?

For platinum, that sounds about right. Personally I wouldn't pay that much for a band, but budget is a personal choice. We didn't want to spend over $1000 for both our rings, and we stuck to that budget.

I think that is an awesome price, I spent well over that for mine, which is also plantium. If you like it and its in your budget, go for it.

It sounds like a good price for what you're getting, but if you're concerned about the price, since you don't really see the platinum all that much - ask for it in white good - that will save you some $$ and you really won't be able to tell the difference.

Thats a good price for that ring in platinum. See if they offer it in white gold.
Mine is similar to this in white gold, has a slight curve to fit with my ering and was about $700

Mine is white gold with almost 2 carats of diamonds, its an eternity and it was 1500...dh's was another couple of hundred, I think we paid 1650 for both at the end of the day....

That sounds like a good price. I spent more than double that for my platinum eternity band. DH's ring is just plain platinum and it a little under 2000.

It depends on the total carat weight. Mine is very similar to yours. We paid 3600 for mine but it was 4 carat total weight. I would say for every carat total weight, it's about 1000 per carat.
