XPOST*LONG overdue Vendor RAVE*
Ok ladies..I have been wanting to share this one for a while but have not really had a chance...
for fh's bday i wanted to do cupcakes...Morgan's bay confections (LOVE them) referred me to Marney of Marney's Cakes -Her Website and her email: [email protected]...
She has been one of my favorite vendors to work with thus far!!! I was back and forth on exactly what i wanted to do-she was so quick with the emails-even set up 2 phone apts for me and was so patient!
For night one of the festivites she made me a bowling pin cake made from Chocolate cake painted with Chambord, filled and iced with vanilla buttercream Icing (pics on my facebook) the cake was adorable and tasted absolutley amazing!!!!!!!!!! For night two she replicated the invites made from marie at inviting-you.com- using moist vanilla cake filled with zested orange buttercream, iced in vanilla buttercream...she delievered everything to me so i didnt have to worry about running around!
FH LOVED the cakes....the second cake was for the family party and my dad and brother who ALWAYS find something wrong with the cakes i get absolultley loved this one and could not stop talking about it!!!
I used Marney again for my dad's bday that just passed using Vanilla butter cake filled with cherry buttercream and a layer of marzipan, with almond buttercream icing
and literally it was devoured! when i opened the box (that she again delievered) the cake smelt amazing! Everyone said this one of the best cakes they have ever tasted!
She is doing my mom's cake for next weekend and is even making me and fh an anniversary cake...
Also important to note-her prices are amazing! She is so reasonable and really works within your budget!
All of her cakes are made from the freshest most natural ingredients (except for the fondant (meaning non nantural)-which btw was amazing!) ...she also can accomodate those who need dairy free-gluten free and vegan....
i wanted to give her the shout out she desrves bec she is truly talented and such a pleasure to work with!
