.. i have yet to go look for bridesmaids dresses again, nor have i even looked for a dress for myself... lol
i have no UMPF to get out there... it's just like another thing on the list to do... and it just keeps being pushed off ...
ya think if i get my butt together and order them by january/february i'll be safe for my labor day wedding? or am i pusing it?

the bridesmaid dresses dont take that long- but I would go earlier for your dress- between finding the one and fittings and all- it could take a little longer and you dont want to stress yourself out about that. i am going this week to order mine and i am about 2 months after you. jmo

My wedding is the week before yours and I picked my dress and will be placing the order this thursday (I had to get my shoes first). they said to order no later than January..just in case. that's when I'm ordering BM dresses, so I think you'll be okay if you do it in January.

I haven't looked for BM dresses either -- I know exactly what you mean--I was going to start in Jan. also-- I think my problem is that I have 11 BM and I know it's going to be torture to find a dress they will agree on -- Good Luck to you

you might be okay being that your wedding is in august I didnt realize how difficult it was to get everyone together and order dresses this has been the most difficult task yet -much luck to you also they may have out more designs for the spring/summer in january
i would start looking for a dress for you though the ordering is usually a longer turnover with delivery and there are more fittings for the brides verses bm's at least even if you start heading out and looking for yourself you will have an idea of what you may like

I would try go to a little sooner if I were you only because it may take more than one visit to find what you really want. Plus, if you procrastinate inbetween visits..you'll go over your deadline
I think your ok with your BM dresses because they don't take as long, but you don't want to be extremely stressed and feel like you HAVE to pick a dress even if you haven't found the 'one' because of time issues!

lol my BM's are all over!!
I have girls in Bay Shore, Bellmore, the Bronx, Clearwater FL, & Rochester!!!
so it's a definite no on getting EVERYONE together, just have to find the RIGHT dress..
