Yah! Honeymoon Booked!
I'm SO excited! I just got back from the travel agent (Kelly at Liberty Tavel in Garden City) and we are finally booked! We will be staying one week at the Four Seasons Maui and then flying to Oahu for a week at the Kahala Hotel (a Mandarin Oriental hotel). We got so many upgrades I can't even believe it! I called the Four Seasons directly just to ask questions about potentially spending my honeymoon there. I was going to book the lowest level room and the very nice woman offered to upgrade me 3 levels to an oceanview room, which usually runs $870 per night for the same price as the lowest room and they were having a 5th night free special and she threw in breakfast too! What a deal! I took it on the spot. Same in Oahu. I was going to book the lowest level room but was again upgraded to an ocean view with lanai. I am so looking forward to romance, rest and relaxation after all of this craziness is over! Happy booking to the rest of you!
