Y'all I think there's a chip in my ring!

What do I do? FH bought the lifetime warranty, do I just bring it to the jeweler? Do they look at it? What happens? I'm so confused, and a bit nervous!

i would bring it back to the jewler. im not sure what would happen from there. but if you have the warranty on it they should take care of it. hope everything works out!

are you talking about the ring or the diamond?

I think there's a chip in the diamond!

I thought the same thing when I first got mine, but I looked at that diamond grading report that came wiith it and it tells me on there that there is a cloud and a fracture. I just hadn't noticed at first. Its barely noticable. It's VERY VERY hard (nearly impossible) to chip or even scratch a diamond since they are the hardest gemstone. If it gives you peace of mind I would take it back and ask but it's probably nothing...

It is barely noticeable but now that I found it, I can't stop staring at it!!! I'm going to have them check it out, can't hurt!

diamonds can chip... so its possible. i would just bring it to the jeweler and look at it YOURSELF under the loop. im not sure of the terms/conditions of your warranty but, do you have insurance??

The only thing that can cut a diamond is another diamond, but definitely bring it to the jeweler for piece of mind.

thats true... but you can still chip a diamond.. if there is a teeny tiny imperfection in the stone any pressure can cause it to crack. hitting it against something could easily do it.

It's a lifetime warranty, diamond breaks -- it's replaced... and yes to insurance as well.
