Are you only using purple? What color are your groomsmen going to be in?
I just ask because my colors are shades of purple (BMs in dark plum, my dress has lilac flowers on it) and silver/gunmetal/grey (FH in silver, GMs in gunmetal) with hints of ivory (mostly because my dress is ivory and flowers don't really come in grey/silver).
My mom is crocheting yamulka's for us and she's doing them in grey and ivory. The way I figure it, is that guys don't want to wear a girly color like purple, you know.

This is a hard one. The boys like purple bc that is the main color in their fraternity colors (purple and white). So to them, purple IS manly. LOL.
We haven't looked at tux's yet, but I just assumed they would match the MOH and JrBm. Is that not right?

Well if they like purple they go for it! Hehe. I would just stay away from lavender, since it can look pink sometimes.
It's totally up to you if you want everyone to match, FH and I just like the color variation, so that's how we went. Purple and Silver are 2 of my fav colors...so that fit us well. And FH didn't want me to go purple crazy and he didn't want to wear purple.
I got black crocheted ones with some dark purple and a little pink. My bridesmaids are wearing dark purple.

GET BLACK SUEDE!!!!!!!!!
My photog SPECIFICALLY told me to get balck suede. The reason is his flash wont reflect on the mens heads when taking pix during the ceremony.
