As a fan who drove to Baltimore so I could see the Yankees play the O's, I can't understand why Mets fans always ask why go to Shea to see a Yankee vs. Mets game? You go where you can get tickets for a series like this. I would guess the Mets have less season ticket holders then the Yankees would. Therefore when tickets go on sale at the beginning of the season it's probably easier to grab the tickets at Shea.

Actually the tickets go on sale in February, and theres always a couple of Yankee fans who come and stand on line with the Met fans to get tickets.

I know they go on sale way in advance. I'm saying it's probably a lot easier back then to get tickets to Shea then it is for Yankee stadium.

I think Subway Series tickets are hard to get whether you go see them at Yankee Stadium or Shea. Maybe they are cheaper at Shea??

Yes they are harder to get but my point is tickets sell out faster at Yankee stadium because of all the season ticket holders. Therefore if you have one chance to grab tickets for this series it might be easier and you might have more of a chance to do it at Shea.
Not sure about the prices, I think they are pretty close, but I wouldn't know.
