Yankee Candle Outlet Stores

Just wondering if anyone has purchased yankee candles from the outlet stores and were they less expensive than retail. Thanks.

Re: Yankee Candle Outlet Stores

I didn't buy candles, but I bought candle holders from the clearance section of their website...they were bigger than votive holder (3'x3') originally $4.50 marked down to $1.13 and they were fabulous...

then I went to CandleMart and found the perfect small pillar for 2 for $.99 !! they were fabulous...they always have a 2 for 1 sale, but you just have to look a while for the color you need...and they smell nice

Re: Yankee Candle Outlet Stores

Thanks Yabbobay! I have looked at the candlemart site. Was everything okay with the candles in shipping? They seem to be less expensive than many sites out there.
Question: Did you place the pillars in the voitve holders? Or were the items in question used for different things? I would only need pillar candlees and the ones you got sound perfect!

Re: Yankee Candle Outlet Stores

What kind of candles are you looking for? The big jars? Or smaller ones?
There's a retailer on ebay that sells them (big jars) for $14 and you save quite bit on shipping when you order a few.

Re: Yankee Candle Outlet Stores

I am looking for the small pillars. I want to place a personalized label on them. But I am wondering on the body shop, bath and body works those type of places too.
Hmmm all I know is I want small pillars that smell nice. I have bought a couple of pillars from 99 cent stores and they smell like nothing. I am looking for them to give off a scent. The scent I haven't figured out yet either.
What is a common scent everyone likes?

Re: Yankee Candle Outlet Stores

Everything was fine with the shipping...no melting and they were packaged extremely well (but I ordered in April...I can't say in this heat)

I didn't get votive holders, but 'ball candle' holders...so I put the small pillar inside and wrapped it with a really pretty wide ribbon...(with wire edging)
