Yarmulkes

Hey girls,
I have a question for you - I'm going to be ordering Yarmulkes soon and am just now realizing that they're about $14 for 12 and I'm having about 120 men at my wedding (if not more). I don't want to spend all this money on something my guests will be wearing for 30-45 minutes.

What do you think? Any places that rent them? What are you doing with yours after your weddings?

TIA!

There HAVE to be places in the city that can do better than that. Are you getting suade or the satin ones? Advice is to keep lookin, check out some of the Judaica stores in the city. If I find anything myself, I'll let you know.

I know there are web sites out there that aren't that expensive! They can even print your names and wedding dates inside. I would suggest doing a search online and see what you get. Did you try ebay? Just another thought!!

what kind are you looking for?

i know i sound like a broken record, but they are another item that can be diy'ed.

they can be sewed, knitted, crocheted.

i know i saw a jewish bride on here (a while ago) whose mom made the ones for her wedding

I'm registered for china at a discount place called rudi's pottery in NJ. we visited the store, and they have a whole section dedicated towards yarmulkes and other Jewish wedding necessities.

Maybe give them a call? they ARE a discount place, so maybe it will be less $$$....
