we closed yesterday!! I am so excited but nervous at the same time.
I cant wait for the contractor to start the repairs. does anyone have advice ofr me about dealing with contractors? Thanks in advance!

Yes - stand your ground and be assertive for what you want. Don't let them take advantage of you - and stay on top of them.

Advice - make sure who you are dealing with is licensed and insured for whichever county you are located in. Also make sure they have liability and workmans comp insurance. It might be a PITA to find this out but if you ever have a problem you are covered.
Get everything in writing.
